Ender's Game Reading Response

In Ender's game by Orson Scott Card, Ender finished Battleschool, and got into command school. He was pitted in unfair matches in battleschool. For example, having to go against 2 armies at once, being cornered, and sent out with no warning. In command school it was the same thing. He had to go against impossible odds, such as the enemy's technology being more advance then his, being outnumbered, and being surronded.
This is connected to a real battlefield. You don't always have the advantage and you have to make up what you don't have. Even though it is impossible, he still tried and he always won at the end. This is connected to the real world, because even though something is really hard, people try. People knew that the SHSAT was hard, but they still tried. The feelings and thoughts in the book was as close to a real person's thought.

  1. I like how you connected the events and thoughts from the book to kids thoughts now in the real world like the SHSAT.
